Our Cup Runneth Over
Occupancy in June is second only to August. During June we recorded 215 nights of stays, and we served 23 different families. June was also a great month for donations. The McLane Foundation sent another installment of their five-year commitment. The JLH Foundation, our chief supporter, also sent another installment of their three-year commitment. The Order of St. Lazarus also made a nice contribution. And one of our repeat donors, the Kuryla family made a special gift in memory of their granddaughter Emily Kasberg and her grandfather, Robert Kuryla. There will be new leaves on the donor tree which I will post once they are engraved. We are currently in discussions about setting up an endowment fund so that eventually Amy’s House can use the income generated by this fund to help with operations for years to come.
