April showered us with many patients. A full house is always a blessing because it means Amy’s House is fulfilling its mission and not wasting money maintaining an empty house. A big shout-out goes to the Temple Founders Lions Club which presented Amy’s House a nice check and to Marcus and Sharon Schneider who made a helpful contribution to our operating fund. Marcus is one of our board members and has come to our aid more than once with help trimming trees and checking on things in and around the building.

I am the Treasurer of TRIO Central Texas Chapter a 501 (c) 3 which owns and operates Amy’s House in Temple, Texas.  I am the mother of Amy Henderson Firth, a multiple organ and tissue donor after her untimely and unexpected death in 2012.
