BIG NEWS

December was full of good things. First things first. The IRS has given Amy’s House 501(c)(3) standing which means that very soon the ownership of Amy’s House will pass from TRIO Central Texas to Amy’s House Foundation. Nothing will really change in operation or management, and TRIO will still be a support organization for Amy’s House. The process will take about a month to accomplish. We are working on a new logo for Amy’s House.

Even bigger news is the very generous two-year grant we received from the Carpenter Foundation. The grant will help us so much in caring for our guests, and we are so appreciative of the support.
