A Good Luck Sign

Today a hawk was on the fence at Amy’s House. According to some, hawks are a sign of good luck and spirituality. We have certainly been on the receiving end of good luck lately. Alpha Kappa Alpha replenished our pantry. We received a generous grant of $2500 from HEB. Members of the Nurses Professional Education group came to wash our inside windows and dust all the blinds. The recipient of our executive director’s granddaughter’s heart sent a kind donation. On October 3rd a group of CPA’s came to power wash the house and trim low hanging branches for the United Way Day of Giving.
